Job Overview
CloudNine Systems is looking for an SRE to calculate 99.99% uptime SLAs, build Grafana dashboards with 48 glowing gauges, and write blameless post-mortems where everyone agrees that the database was simply tired.
Responsibilities
- Monitor global service availability, error budgets, and latency distributions across European data centers.
- Automate self-healing infrastructure scripts and disaster recovery failover exercises.
- Lead incident war rooms and gently remind participants that shouting does not increase CPU bandwidth.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting production web infrastructure in an SRE or DevOps capacity.
- Strong Linux systems internals knowledge, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS), and Go/Python scripting.
- Calm demeanor during severe service disruptions.
