Job Overview
ByteWorks is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to build pristine, pixel-perfect design systems that developers will approximate with arbitrary CSS margins and unapproved font sizes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain our unified Figma design token library and design beautiful, accessible user interfaces.
- Conduct user research interviews and watch customers fail to find the giant primary button you spent 3 weeks perfecting.
- Defend your design rationale in stakeholder reviews against suggestions like 'Can we make the logo spin when hovered?'
Requirements
- 4+ years of product design experience for developer tools or complex web applications.
- Strong portfolio showcasing clean interaction design, responsive typography, and design systems.
- Resilience when inspecting staging environments and discovering 17 new shades of gray.
